The Women revolves around a group of catty socialites in 1930’s New York. The costumes for the show were a blend of vintage pieces and new garments designed from vintage patterns. The muted color palette was chosen to resemble a faded vintage photograph. Because the set was minimal the costumes needed to be precise and detailed to carry details of the settings and time period.
