My contemporary designs often embody my philosophy about clothing. The choice of garments we make is a visual language proclaiming who we are. Whether it is a costume to create a character or a garment you choose to wear in daily life, it is a wearable expression of personal identity. Contemporary design also offers me the freedom to meld items from my research and explore them without the constraints of historical accuracy.
